Senior Managing Consultant
Mel began employment with the DMIRS in 2001 as a Customer Service Officer in the Leonora Outstation and started with Austwide in September 2019.
Over her 18 year service with the DMIRS she gained experience in various roles including Wardens Court Officer, Relieving Mining Registrar, Project Officer who was responsible for facilitating Native Title negotiations and most recently Team Leader in Area 2 of the Mineral Titles Division.
Throughout her career Mel has gained extensive knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, the Mining Act 1978 and Native Title Act 1993.
